Your Impact

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for campaigns and demand gen aligned with Palo Alto Networks business objectives and revenue targets
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy from Brand to Demand with connected messages across the full funnel to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition
  • Oversee all aspects of the demand generation funnel, from lead generation to qualification and pipeline creation
  • Collaborate with other heads of marketing functions, such as Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Corporate Marketing and Marketing Operations to leverage expertise and resources
  • Provide leadership to design and implement transformation to scale operations and support Palo Alto Networks' growth strategy
  • Seek ways to continuously optimize for high performance, efficiencies, and scale
  • Establish metrics for campaign effectiveness, analyze performance data, and optimize campaigns based on insights to continually improve ROI and impact
  • Utilize core marketing & sales tools for data insights and reporting
  • Enable & empower geo-aligned senior demand generation leaders to align global strategies and campaigns to localized sales and market needs
  • Communicate regularly with regional stakeholders to understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of marketing leaders and professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and excellence in execution
  • Analyze performance data, generate actionable insights, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Provide regular updates to senior sales leadership on campaigns performance, challenges, and opportunities

Your Experience

  • Proven track record (15+ years) of success in campaign and demand generation leadership roles within the enterprise/larger enterprise tech industry, Cyber Security is a plus
  • Deep experience in the multi-pronged demand generation functions (field, channel, digital, campaign)
  • Global leadership experience with a deep understanding of different geographic requirements and go-to-market strategies
  • Demonstrated success acting as the business partner to executives (Product, Marketing and GTM, leading change in times of ambiguity
  • Experience in generating new and innovative approaches to problems and challenging the status quo and is constantly looking for ways to change the game
  • Proven track record of innovation, creativity and leading iteration
  • Demonstrated success acting as the business partner to executives (Product, Marketing and GTM, leading change in times of ambiguity
  • Solid experience inclusively communicating to ensure diversity of voice is heard, considered, and enabled while empowering others to do the same

  • Solid understanding of Marketing metrics and actions that can be taken to continuously improve pipeline creation, conversion at each stage of the funnel, ultimately resulting in increased marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Ability to set goals, drive team performance and excellence - Gives clear direction and goal-setting that is aligned to business priorities and outcomes, disciplined at measuring performance against
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in business, marketing, or technology is preferred - MBA preferred or equivalent military experience required

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $262000 - $357000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found .
