Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Pension Benefit Management activities for all DB and DC plans – incl separation/retirement/death
• Special fund related DB plans including implementation of new pension legislation.
• Senior plans design and execution as well as reporting
• Collaboration with relevant parties both internally in IBM (Finance, Legal, HR, etc) but also externally (pension fund, actuary, works council, etc)
• Implementation and execution of Pension plans and design changes
• Communication and contact with all relevant parties (Management, Associations, Works Council, Pension fund, Finance, Payroll, Legal, HR, employees/retirees, etc)
• Resolution of exceptions and escalations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Dutch and English language skills – written and verbal
• Good negotiation skills, ability to hold difficult conversations
• Ability to work with numbers in an accurate way with attention to details
• Ability to work independently with a personal drive
• Teaming with existing local & global (regional) HR team as well as with external vendors/suppliers
• Client focus, Associations, Work Councils etc

• Ability to read and understand legal text
• Financial basics
