Role and Responsibilities

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems Engineering or related field and twelve (12) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Staff Engineer I, System Structure Design or related occupation in 4G/5G system development in mobile industry. Of the twelve (12) years must have included: (1) 4G/5G concepts including Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, LTE-NR interworking & co-existence, 5G Numerologies; (2) Experience with system engineering activities, including feature requirements identification, feature description documentation, parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy creation, and problem troubleshooting; (3) Experience with 4G/5G air interface and call processing technologies and network architecture with focus on Radio Access Network; (4) Experience with overall Wireless systems with emphasis on PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers; (5) Experience with protocol analyzers, test tools including XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators; and (6) Experience with 3GPP Rel-15/16 activities, 3GPP systems, including Core and RAN networks.
