Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich or Dusseldorf

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage & secure existing business for its assigned accounts

  • Develop and grow turnover & market share by specific coordination for new business opportunities to meet strategic and tactical plans for profitable growth and market leadership in collaboration with Program, Engineering & Operations Managers

  • Lead RFQ process internally and to customer including by providing offer & feedback for growth

  • Improve profitability by leading specific VAVE & pricing initiatives; negotiate & monitor any price movements

  • Carry out comprehensive and collaborative business planning for forecast & budget

  • Maintain Customer Scorecard and liaise deeply with customer contacts

  • Suggest changes in strategies or services provided to respond to changing market conditions

Our requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

  • 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, and/or relevant experience in the fields of automotive transmissions and engine design

  • Native German and Fluent English skills

  • A highly organized and systematic approach to account management along with technical selling skills

  • Ability to work well independently or within a global, multi-cultural team environment

  • Knowledge of factors affecting profits and ROI

  • Strong selling, marketing and negotiating skills together with good Project Management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to travel mainly within Europe (20% of the time)
