As a
Our office is based in Aachen, but
Your responsibilities will be to:
Manage & secure existing business for its assigned accounts
Develop and grow turnover & market share by specific coordination for new business opportunities to meet strategic and tactical plans for profitable growth and market leadership in collaboration with Program, Engineering & Operations Managers
Lead RFQ process internally and to customer including by providing offer & feedback for growth
Improve profitability by leading specific VAVE & pricing initiatives; negotiate & monitor any price movements
Carry out comprehensive and collaborative business planning for forecast & budget
Maintain Customer Scorecard and liaise deeply with customer contacts
Suggest changes in strategies or services provided to respond to changing market conditions
Our requirements:
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
10 years of experience in the automotive industry, and/or relevant experience in the fields of automotive transmissions and engine design
Native German and Fluent English skills
A highly organized and systematic approach to account management along with technical selling skills
Ability to work well independently or within a global, multi-cultural team environment
Knowledge of factors affecting profits and ROI
Strong selling, marketing and negotiating skills together with good Project Management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel mainly within Europe (20% of the time)
