Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Communicates, collaborates, and coordinates across product and technology to review the needs of our customers are clearly understood and we expeditiously deliver solutions that meet or exceed their needs and expectations.
- Remains flexible in a changing environment due to high demands from products across the firm all working to solution their highest priority change
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, program management or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Demonstrate ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively track and manage work in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Understand the process and new ideas of Agile software delivery (including management of an agile team).
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, present findings, and document requirements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market is a plus; experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) JIRA, Confluence Tools.
- Demonstrated experience working with credit card transaction processing system.
- Strong understanding of Credit Cardoperations and servicing processes.
- Experience with data storage, analysis, and APIs a plus.
