Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Lead the development of a new market solution and turn the vision into action by managing each stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Form a deep understanding of the technical specifications and benefits of the new solution, and effectively communicate those benefits to others, including customers, business and technical colleagues and executives
  • Manage the development of the new product offering alongside Technology partners by defining and prioritizing a features backlog, running scrum meetings and defining KPIs
  • Partner closely with Technology counterparts to guide the creation of the new solution and the development and testing required to meet the highest standards in API design
  • Partner with marketing, servicing, and client experience teams to design and execute market research and voice of customer initiatives to inform development, marketing, servicing, and sales efforts
  • Provide oversight of the end-to-end client experience, including management of client servicing strategy, adherence to servicing level agreements and assistance in resolving questions/customer escalations
  • Bring a proactive positive influence across the Organization as a whole as a culture carrier with the intent to participate in various DE&I, employee engagement and talent development initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Analytical thinker with financial acumen and ability to interpret results and key performance metrics to drive change and deliver financial results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively organize and communicate complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence internal and external partners; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Commercial card or treasury payments experience a strong plus
  • 5+ years of application development management, or application, integration or enterprise architecture experience a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred or equivalent experience. Computer Science background is a strong plus
