How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Work with the D2C Team and regional D2C Head to develop the level-up strategy focussing on both sales expansion and customer experience improvements with strategic focus on category development, premium experience along with customer loyalty and retention
  • Align global direction, regional strategy and local subsidiaries’ plans and operations to meet deadlines and schedules for strategic short-term and long-term initiatives
  • Ideate and lead on new projects (incl. fintech, channel optimization, CX, UX, sellout platforms) targeting sales growth for D2C
  • Optimize sales performance on the eStores, collaborating across Key Account Management, Sales, Site Merchandising, Product Marketing and technical teams
  • Share best practices from regional and global insights and work closely with cross-functional teams to roll out innovative initiatives
  • Provide direction to subsidiaries’ D2C and project teams, proactively leading on the timely execution and ensure alignment/compliance with quality and brand standards/guidelines
  • Continuously analyse Samsung's performance and the market ecosystem (end consumer, Samsung and other competitors) to formulate new ideas and strategies for Samsung’s future success utilizing internal and external data
  • Lead on performance analysis on regional and market level and derive strategies, insights and action plans to ramp up sales, overcome operational bottlenecks and enhance customer experience
  • Compile weekly & monthly reports – feeding back to senior management team advising on strategy
  • Identify opportunities and risks for Samsung vs. competition within D2C environments
  • Being an effective, assertive and professional member of the project delivery team by developing consensus across different stakeholders internal and external
  • Support markets with building infrastructure & framework to drive D2C sales & strategic projects
  • Support subsidiaries with promotion and sales planning and drive regional events across all markets
  • Manage Suwon counterparts, attain and deliver best practices improving MENA markets’ execution

What You’ll Need:

  • 12 years of relevant work experience within a fast growing eCommerce environment
  • Strong understanding of D2C sales business cycle and customer behavior within MENA region
  • Strong grasp of end-to-end and eCommerce operations, covering sales, supply chain, P&L, digital marketing, payment method, analytics and customer experience
  • Proven experience in eCommerce sales and project management, with deep knowledge of eCommerce trends, competitive landscape and digital customer experience
  • Strong problem solving skills (can‐do approach) to identify areas of issues and opportunities, evaluate options and provide clearrecommendations/strategicplans for business growth
  • Comfortable in a cross-functional environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization, while also confident and decisive in a matrix organization
  • Outstanding stakeholder management on different levels and geographies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and technical skills
  • Strong experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing secondary and/or primary research
  • Conceptual and strategic, and must embrace being an owner; getting involved in business details
  • Proficiency in building clear and concise presentations to be used with C-Level management
  • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent time management to work on tight deadlines & handle the pressure of ad-hoc requests
  • Ability to operate comfortably and optimally in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data and insights into clear, actionable strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French are a plus
