This is a hybrid position and is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office].
Your key responsibilities
- Manage technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to EY's project management methodologies and best practices.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience managing technical projects using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project) and their application in project execution.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with IT systems and a high-level understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and Data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
