Responsibilities include:
- Engineering ownership of the Cisco Virtual Firewall product portfolio across public cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba) & private cloud infrastructure (Esxi, KVM, Nutanix, OpenStack, etc)
- Evangelizing the virtual firewall strategy with relevant teams to produce the market leading virtual firewall offering for Cisco
- Researching and synthesizing market requirements, market and technology trends, and competitive analyses to understand the future trends for virtual firewall products
- Grow and develop a highly diverse and mission driven engineering teams to deliver on the Virtual Firewall Roadmap
- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
- Defining the vision and success measures for prioritized solutions, in collaboration with key players across the business
- Be a technologist working across different public and private cloud infrastructure & services
- Be a link between Product Management and Engineering teams by comprehending complex customer requirements and translating them to engineering features
- demonstrated ability in engineering, providing product outlook and roadmaps, leading end-to-end product development
- proven experience handling engineering teams in organizations.
- demonstrated ability developing software products
- Experience in creating, executing, and delivering against contending features and driving business impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent and advocate complex business or technical concepts.
- Experience in engineering leadership with a demonstrated track record of technical innovation and leading large-scale organizations.
- Understanding of Network Security & Cloud security industry
- Good understanding of virtualization and cloud development. Experience in either of ESXi, KVM is desired
- Good experience in one or more of public cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience in handling Agile teams responsible for both development, testing and automation.
