Job Description
Responsibilities
Be accountable for the end-to-end implementation of new shopfloor products in-line with business needs:
Architect and develop SCADA, Process Data Historian engineering solutions and manage the technical deployment of the same at multiple manufacturing plants.
Documentation of best practices, internal Knowledge Articles, and other communications.
Participate and contribute to investigations of automation anomalies to prevent a recurrence.
Understand and support all GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
Evaluate automated and information technology systems and develop strategies to optimize and ensure the quality and stability of automation systems through future expansion, replacement, or upgrade.
Use their technical knowledge to assure the robust and efficient operation of a variety of automated processing and information technology systems.
Requirements
2+ years’ experience of SCADA systems engineering & deployment – Ignition 8.1, Rockwell Factory Talk, Siemens, Wonderware. SCADA administration and configuration.
Excellent understanding on SCADA/MES Ignition modules like Perspective, Vision Unlimited, Web Browser, Alarm Notification, SQL Bridge, Tag Historian, SQL Server, python scripting
Expertise in integration with OPC server products like Kepware
Experience with automation system architecture, design, start-up, and/or qualification.
Develop on-demand reports, dashboards, etc. in PI System
PI-System performance optimization, monitoring system health, upgrades, etc.
Experienced problem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in root cause analysis
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational skills to multi-task.
Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong analytical thinking and technical writing skills
Proficient in MS Office Platform and document storage systems
