About the Role:
The purpose of the Event and Marketing Associate is to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness through carefully planned and expertly executed on-site and virtual events. Some travel will be required for the role.
This role ismeaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week)in-person at one of our offices listed on this job postingare enterprise- wide
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
Plan, organize, and manage a calendar of events including industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual events (i.e. webinars)
Coordinate all event logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, exhibit services, sponsorship and speaking engagement details, booth resource scheduling and on-site support.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure innovative event experiences.
Research trade shows and industry expos; coordinate registration for Capital One attendees.
Webinar Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive webinar strategy to support content, demand generation, and thought leadership.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify key topics, speakers, and content.
Manage all aspects of webinar production, including scheduling, promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up.
Marketing and Promotion:
Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and webinars across multiple channels (email, social media, website, etc.).
Collaborate cross-functionally to produce high-quality promotional materials, including invitations, landing pages, invitation emails, and follow-up emails.
Create video and creative assets for promotions, as needed.
Project Management:
Develop project plans, timelines, and critical paths for each event and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Communicate frequent updates on project status and escalate roadblocks quickly to ensure deadlines are met.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate key stakeholders, communicate responsibilities, scope, and timeline.
Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and BD teams on key events, topics, and SLAs for promotion and follow-up
Performance Analysis:
Track and analyze event and webinar performance metrics to measure success and identify areas of opportunity.
Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Vendor and Partner Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, partners, and industry associations to enhance event quality and reach.
Manage swag, printing, shipments and event materials (such as booth, flyers/brochures, banners, table cloths, technology etc…)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 3 years of B2B marketing experience, including event marketing, strategy, demand generation, brand management, and digital marketing including web and social media channels.
At least 3 years of Salesforce experience including lead and campaign management as well as reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of delivering growth through events and webinars
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale events and webinars from concept to completion
Experience negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions, track expenses, and manage event budgets.
Track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity.
Experience in managing creative processes, partnering with internal creative teams and external marketing agencies and developing marketing materials that drive results.
Detailed-oriented with strong prioritization and time management skills; can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work.
Pardot (Account Engagement) experience is a plus.
