While this role is an individual contributor, success relies heavily on building authentic relationships with peers, partners and leaders.

You’ll be asked to handle a variety of responsibilities, including:

Portfolio Management:

• Develop routines to track and prioritize initiatives, including resource allocation to meet business needs

• Refine and manage capacity allocation and alignment systems

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with product and tech partners to influence delivery practices

• Co-create the interaction model with the product operations team

• Provide accurate reporting to cross-functional leadership on portfolio status, resourcing, issues, and priorities.

Business & People Operations:

• Support the hiring and onboarding of employees, manage contractors and vendors, strategically balance attrition.

• Keeping a finger on the culture pulse and actively participating in shaping it

Design Standards & Practice Management:

• Create and optimize end to end routines that drive design quality

• Collaborate with peers across the broader Design organization on priority initiatives, scaling best practices, and building new processes to ensure the organization is well managed

• Shape agendas, facilitate collaboration sessions, and build frameworks to drive teams towards outcomes

Basic Qualifications

• 7 years relevant experience, including design management, product delivery, project/program management of design deliverables, and/or operations management

• 4 years experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional projects

• Experience working directly with designers, researchers, and strategists

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years working within the product development process between tech, product, and design

• Experience building operation systems and programs at scale

• Experience working with corporate design teams

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
