As part of the engagement, you are expected to take on a variety of tasks:
• Validate/ Assess the allocated suppliers against the set of standards/ questionnaire.
• Based on validation, provide a gap analysis report to the client with appropriate recommendation/ remediation measures.
• Virtually engage with key stakeholders of the strategic suppliers to guide and advise for closure of the identified gap areas, till compliance is achieved.
• Re-validate the documents/ evidence received from strategic suppliers as part of the regular effort for closure of gaps, till compliance is achieved.
• Regularly update the available tracker (internal and external) with the work progress.
To qualify for the role you must have
• Degree in social sciences, law, human rights & labour standards, human resources, or a comparable course of study.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting or in sustainability departments of industrial companies with a technical focus on sustainable supply chains.
• In-depth knowledge of human rights, sustainable supplier management, supplier evaluation and sustainable purchasing practices.
• In- depth understanding of ILO conventions, OECD guidelines, The International Bill of Human Rights, UNGP on B&HR and relevant region/ country’s legislation on human rights & labour standards and Environmental & Human Rights Due Diligence.
• Attention to details and well versed in French & English (German is a plus)
