Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactively and quickly learn new and emerging technologies and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architectures to both technical and business audiences.
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organization across engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to create narratives targeted to different segments, delivering clear outcomes and a call to action.
  • Analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data to build and present business cases to marketing, sales and engineering stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify the nuances and details of the product or solution, key competitive differentiators and be able to simplify the messaging for customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of data security market and competitors.
  • Own building strategies to compete and win.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and insights on competitor strategy and market in executive leadership forums.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and product management in monitoring and analysis of data security market trends and customer needs.
  • Integrate competitive differentiation narrative into data security messaging and go to market strategy.
  • Influence engineering on product roadmap toensure Microsoft is a compelling and differentiated offer.
  • Create readiness content to ensure field has the insights and knowledge to win.
  • Listen to field input from sellers to influence your content and guidance.
