Responsibilities include:
Creating preference in the market for Cisco Security through bold storytelling
Collaborating with executives to create executive level presentations that illustrate Cisco’s vision and the value it brings to customers
Working with product managers and product marketing peers to develop portfolio-level messaging and positioning and roadmaps
Collaborating with remote and geographically dispersed teams
Representing our customers through persona-led narratives
You will be on the Portfolio and Platform Security Product Marketing team and maintain a collaborative working relationship with sales, product management, strategy and operations, and peer product marketing managers.
You will be an experienced product marketing manager with security knowledge who loves storytelling and relishes a challenge. You will:
Draw business benefits from technology
Compel sellers to pitch our message through engaging storytelling
Be knowledgeable of security trends and concepts
Understand security concepts such as Zero Trust, Security Service Edge (SSE), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR)
Learn about how customers use security technology to solve problems

Initiative and self-discipline to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative writing and illustration skills that are engaging, entertaining and precise
You're an experienced product marketing manager with security knowledge who relishes a challenge
Minimum qualifications include:
Creative writing and illustration skills that are engaging, entertaining, and detailed
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience
Must have Product launch experience
Initiative and self-discipline to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in working directly with customers in a consultative manner
