Product Marketing Manager, Security
As the Product Marketing Manager for Exposure Management, you will play a critical role in shaping the narrative around our products and driving market success. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position our solutions as the go-to choice for organizations looking to proactively manage their exposure to cyber threats. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market insight, and hands-on execution to ensure our products stand out in a competitive market. This is a hybrid position based out of our Boston office (3 days on-site/2 days remote).
In this role, you will:
Craft compelling messaging and market positioning for various stakeholders and personas - amplifying our story, position our services and products to the right target audiences, and grow with us
Serve as a subject matter expert who understands the cybersecurity market landscape, buyer personas, modern IT infrastructure and the role they play in modern application development.
Support with planning and executing the launch of new Exposure Management offerings, capabilities, and solutions
Be the voice of the customer in internal discussions and initiatives impacting the product strategy, with a solid understanding of the best levers to motivate, excite, and educate these customers
Engage directly with industry analysts, including briefing them on product launches and GTM changes as well as soliciting feedback and participating in relevant research reports.
Drive thought leadership leveraging Rapid7 Labs and our world-class research team to identify and deliver insights that drive brand awareness and demand generation.
Participate in webcasts, podcasts, events, and other demand-generation activities
Guide and contribute to sales and partner enablement initiatives
Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on market development and the effectiveness of product marketing efforts.
The skills you’ll bring include:
3+ years of work experience in Product Marketing or a related role in a high-paced B2B tech environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively translate highly-technical and complex concepts to a wide range of audiences
Solid foundational understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or related domain as well as trends impacting modern IT infrastructure and software development is a plus
Confident with public speaking, including presenting in meetings, on webcasts, and at regional partner events
Resourceful, curious, and able to take direction and run with it
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Comfortable with change and open to working in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
