This senior designer’s role requires you to possess (and to continuously sharpen) your ability to think beyond the obvious; to unearth deeper connections and relationships; to be able to express your ideas and thoughts with clarity and purposefulness. Provides product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems, graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction.
Core tasks include:
Creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving software application development.
Develops user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task and objective analyses.
Assists in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations.
Develops and applies software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.
Produces specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Be at the forefront of SuccessFactors product design in concert with our overall vision and strategy.
Be a leader in our Mobile First strategy.
Be an active, energetic and thoughtful participant in the end-to-end process model to deliver contemporary and cutting-edge product.
Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and simple user experiences no matter their function or role within the application.
Support accessibility design efforts across all stages of product development, from conceptualization to implementation.
Take responsibility for usability testing and providing Product Design sign-off for releases.
Participate and lead research efforts within our customer-centric research program.
Engage with end users, customers and the sales team to better understand the needs and workflows of the end users and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
Combine new design mock-ups for existing product features and demonstrate a meaningful story behind each feature design.
Be adaptable to challenges and flexible with change.
Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across all levels, teams, location and willing to take ownership.
Be someone that the team could rely on to guide, support, lead and critique.
Good to have skills
Support to define and enforce design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and coherence in user interface design
Support DSM team to create and maintain a comprehensive library of design components, patterns, and templates within design tools and repositories.
Experience in UX design with a focus on AI-powered products and services.
Solid understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing
Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, techniques, and technologies in AI and machine learning
Understand Accessibility principles like perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Centered Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience working as Product or UX designer - preferably in a SaaS or consumer app company.
Mobile iOS and/or Android experience.
Self-motivated fast learner with exceptional follow-through while operating with a sense of urgency.
Comprehensive knowledge of design software such as Figma and related tools.
Able to use English as the working language, such as presentation, workshop discussion, email communication
Experience working in a large & geographically dispersed product-driven environment ++
Previous work history in enterprise software companies ++
