As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing assigned customer portfolios to identify delinquent accounts and initiate appropriate collection activity.
• Performing due diligence on accounts requiring credit checks, reviewing credit scores, financial statements, and bank references
• Minimizing Unapplied Cash & Credit Memos through effective communication with customers.
• Tracking timely delivery of invoices and following up with internal/external customers to meet deadlines for resolution/payment.
• Collaborating cross-functionally on the resolution of various issues, following SLAs ensuring a high-level quality service is delivered.
• Documenting all collection efforts in Salesforce and meeting accounts receivable aging targets for the assigned portfolio.

• Have a bachelor's degree and relevant experience in a similar customer-facing role.
• Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment.
• Possess excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
• Have prior experience using Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and Oracle.
• Demonstrate the ability to build trusted relationships and influence others, with compelling negotiation skills.
• Demonstrate business level, written and spoken communication skills with fluency in spoken English.
• Display an ethical approach, show integrity, and personal motivation, and be able to uphold Akamai values.
