Your key responsibilities
• Provide functional and/or technical experience and insights
• Provide strategic and tactical insights to help anticipate client needs
• Design and facilitate client meetings and workshops
• Identify and implement service delivery improvements to improve the quality of the service provided
• Identify and resolve/escalate issues and risks that affect scope, quality, schedule and resources
• Develop and deliver status updates and client-facing communications
• Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance client service delivery
• Stay current with the latest trends in the industry to be a trusted advisor/subject-matter resource for our clients’ businesses
• Participate in new business opportunities by developing strategies and solutions
• Network to develop long-term relationships both internally and externally
• Enhance the EY brand through strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients
• Support the EY inclusiveness culture
• Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel depending on time of year
• Must have a valid driver’s licenseSkills and attributes for success
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels
• Ability to challenge and inspire coworkers and clients to think about difficult situations in new and transformative ways
• Use of existing knowledge and experience to provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership

• Ability to support driving projects to completion with the highest quality, regardless of team size or individual responsibilities

• Proven business or technical work experience in one or more of the following digital grid focus areas: AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS, Network Modeling
• Bachelor’s degree or a graduate degree with a minimum of two years of related work experience
• Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel
• Must have a valid driver's licenseIdeally, you’ll also have
• Experience working with vendor software associated with above focus areas including (Itron, L+G, Schneider Electric, ABB, GE, OSI, CYME, PSCAD, PSS/E)
• Experience delivering consulting services to Power & Utilities clients


What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
