Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the Global Mobility Team - Oversee the teams daily processes and ensure delivery expectations are met.

  • Create and track relevant metrics/KPI’s that align with business objectives and demonstrate colleague experience.

  • Manage strategic outsource vendor relationships and ensure related metrics/KPI’s are in place and met.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global mobility strategy in alignment with the company's overall talent and business objectives.

  • Provide strategic guidance on complex mobility and immigration issues, including work permits, visas, and relocations.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of global mobility trends and changes in immigration laws on the organization.

Program Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end global mobility process, including planning, execution, and administration of international assignments and relocations.

  • Collaborate with external vendors, immigration consultants, and legal advisors to ensure compliance and address any issues that arise.

  • Manage the global mobility budget, including forecasting costs and optimizing expenses.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to global mobility and immigration.

  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with HR, Legal, Total Rewards and Finance teams to integrate mobility practices into broader HR processes and policies.

  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on mobility-related issues and concerns.

  • Develop and deliver training programs on global mobility and immigration topics for HR professionals and managers.

Employee Experience:

  • Enhance the employee experience by providing clear communication and support throughout the relocation and immigration process.

  • Address employee questions and concerns in a timely and effective manner, ensuring a smooth transition for relocating employees and their families.

Data and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records and data related to global mobility and immigration activities.

  • Prepare and present regular reports and analyses on global mobility metrics, program performance, and compliance status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., GMS, CIPP) preferred.

  • 7+ years in global mobility and immigration management, with a track record of successfully leading and managing complex global mobility programs.

  • In-depth knowledge of global immigration laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
