Key Responsibilities:- Supporting and monitoring a privacy program to ensure that technology and business processes meet applicable legal requirements - Coordinating internal and external inquiries, compliance reviews and monitoring activities - Advising on general privacy and data protection/security laws, regulations, requirements and industry best practices- Identifying and communicating potential risks areas with leadership - Staying informed of and properly communicating any changes to or developments in privacy and data protection laws, regulations, standards, and guidance
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience in privacy and/or data governance and compliance
  • Knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and regulations, experience in driving regulatory work including regulatory responses
  • Experience conducting ongoing compliance monitoring activities in coordination with other compliance and operational assessment functions
  • Fluency in security frameworks, including ISO, NIST, and knowledge of financial-related data security requirements such as NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulations and PCI DSS
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pulse on cutting-edge legal issues like AIML in the financial services context, with an emphasis on financial data requirements
  • Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to partner at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
