Description
You will be responsible for advising and providing support to the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team on a wide range of issues related to offering financial products and other services through digital wallets, including digital IDs. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Significant experience providing product advice for mobile wallets, payments systems, alternative payments, and other related services
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with laws, regulations and network standards impacting payments and financial services
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and support new areas of regulation and technology
  • Strong work ethic and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a regulated environment or with governmental entities
  • Knowledge of digital IDs and other services related to identity verification
  • Strong intellectual property law, privacy law and technology transactions background
  • Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to lead, take action and provide direction in the face of ambiguity
  • Ability to get results in diverse, fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships and partner at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in an international team
