Description
In this role, you will design and develop scalable, performant, resilient distributed systems and software to support our products at Wallet, Payments & Commerce. As an engineer in this role, you will gather and analyze software development requirements, design and develop software, ensure quality contributing towards unit tests and performing code reviews. In addition, you will support production deployments, product launches, and help troubleshoot and fix production issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals
  • Knowledge of server-side programming language Java
  • Understanding of client-server development and API design, implementation
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field and/or equivalent practical
  • At least 1+ years experience in software development
  • Understanding of production quality software development process and practices
  • Experience/understanding of security and cryptography
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,909 and $214,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
