Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive partner engagement strategies for new innovation workloads.
- Identify and prioritize partners through market analysis and alignment with Microsoft’s capabilities and objectives.
- Define joint GTM opportunities and offerings for ISD and Partners to launch together in the market
- Design delivery frameworks (e.g., thin prime, blended models) to scale new workloads effectively.
Partner Engagement and Enablement
- Conduct market scans and lead test-and-learn pilots to evaluate and onboard suitable partners.
- Facilitate enablement programs to prepare partners for new workload delivery
Customer and Solution Delivery:
- Oversee deployment efforts for flagship new workloads, such as Copilot & Agents, ensuring outcomes (eg usage, customer value and consumption milestones) are understood
- Drive customer and partner alignment to embed AI solutions into workflows, increasing Microsoft consumption.
- Monitor adoption metrics, partner performance, and customer satisfaction to optimize delivery strategies for scale.
Collaboration and Advocacy
- Partner with Microsoft teams (e.g., Customer Success Unit (CSU), Global Partner Sales (GPS), engineering) to align new solution play priorities with partner roadmaps
- Represent ISD in strategic discussions with partners, customers, and executives to drive collaboration.
- Work with ISD partner teams e.g. Cross Partner Team (xPT), Partner Operations to define approach to scale new workloads
- Act as a liaison between ISD and product groups to ensure alignment on advancements.
Metrics and Continuous Improvement
- Define KPIs, focusing on Azure consumed revenue (ACR) growth, consumption rates, and deployment velocity.
- Report on the performance of partner models, including pipeline, velocity and consumption to inform partner prioritization
- Experiment with and refine partner engagement frameworks, using learnings from pilots to drive scalability
