1st shift (United States of America)Looking for a senior leader responsible for the planning, design, and execution for multiple, concurrent Executive Leader (EL) level / C-Suite routines spanning Board, Committee, Investor, Operating, and External/Media engagements.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Oversee / lead the coordination and support creation of executive level materials used by the CIO. Materials are for highly visible and scrutinized routines such as Management Committees, Board deliverables, Operating Reviews, as well as external facing deliverables such as Investor Relations.
  • When needed, attend meetings with the CIO to understand weekly priorities, and to facilitate weekly staff meetings
  • Directs and oversees relationships with technologyand partnerleads to support overall program needs.
  • Ensures implementation and oversight of appropriate risk management plans for program initiatives in area of responsibility.
  • Proactively advocates across leadership levels regarding the performance of current systems and processes. Champions solutions designed to deliver value and accept/mitigate risk where appropriate.
  • Decisions new solutions and determines at what point larger issues require escalation to senior management.
  • Indirectly and directly lead teams or multiple teams of internal and/or external resources to deliver against the CIO calendar of events

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, to include ten years progressive related experience in managing enterprise technology organizations combined with overall fifteen years progressive related experience in enterprise technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in technology organization management, financial management, risk management, people management, issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.
  • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.
  • Demonstrated Executive level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, andforecasting.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Executive-level reporting function for either C-suite or Executive level leader
  • Experience managing a team of professionals, focused on business management or technology initiatives.
  • Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization
  • Strong skills/ability to:
    • Consume volumes of information and synthesize in an executive summary manner
    • Connect the dots across information and organizations
    • Think critically and ask questions to ensure level of understanding of information is achieved and in turn explain to others
    • Write concisely and with proper grammar
    • Support / author deliverables requiring heavy technical writing
    • Support slideware creation for deliverables at the executive level
    • Keep self-organized with volumes of emails, pings, and information received
    • Provide highest level of attention to detail across all deliverables
    • Establish positive working relationships across a large organization
    • Work in a fast-paced environment where quick turnaround is demanded
  • Significant experience in enterprise technology organizational leadership.
  • Financial services technology experience highly beneficial
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (e.g., MBA, PMP and/or PgMP)

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
