performing oversight of Citi’s Strategic Portfolio.

The CPMC PM Oversight review process goes deeper than other PM Governance processes. It focuses on end-to-end execution and risk to delivery. The CPMC PM Oversight process must guard against missed or delayed identification of execution risks due to incomplete Project Plan, Book of Work (BoW) structure or improperly operating PM practices. The CPMC PM Oversight Reviewer will be actively engaged in the BoW execution using a risk-based approach throughout the PM lifecycle. The CPMC PM Oversight Reviewer will have significant interaction with senior stakeholders, including Sponsors and Work Effort Managers. Relationships with other groups in the Citi’s first line of defense, such as Organization PMO’s, are expected.

The CPMC PM Oversight Reviewer role is integral to assessing strategic work through collection and review of pertinent data and observation of in-scope efforts using a framework including 5 Areas of Focus (BoW Structure, Governance Model, Planning Assessment, Execution, and Steering Committee).

  • Investigate and analyze data, then, prepare & present observations and challenges regarding risk to delivery using tools and reports/scorecards/metrics

  • Own the review and provide initial assessments of BoW structures and governance model, completeness of scope, artifacts, schedule, Critical Success Criteria (CSC) / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) management, Business Critical Milestones (BCM) placement and dependencies

  • Identify enhancements to the PM Oversight process framework which will be used to consistently assess PM execution oversight to BoW and to proactively identify work efforts that may be at risk

  • Assist with the collection of common assessment metrics and reports, both monthly and quarterly

  • Build partnerships with PM Execution teams and the Organization PMOs to ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of data to positively impact the overall quality of the reviews delivered by the PM Oversight Team

  • Understand the PM escalation process and apply to the PM Oversight aging challenges

  • Maintain documentation of your work for each review

  • Facilitate Oversight Review meetings for all in-scope work efforts with agenda, minutes, and action items for follow-up

  • Keep current with Citi’s Program & Project Management practices, Standards, Policies, and Citi Solution Delivery Life Cycle (CSDLC)
