As a Manager - Manufacturing Excellence, you will play a pivotal part in assisting our clients through their operational excellence transformation journey, byleading a (sub) project within client engagements. You will work independently as well as in teams at our clients, supporting them with improving their business performance.You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyze the client’s issues and report the findings and results. Our activities are always focused on adding value to the customers business. Drawing on your knowledge, skills and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers. In addition, you will play an active role and contribute to the EY SC&O team internally by developing project proposals, solutions, trainings, and thought leadership.


Job requirements– Where do you start if you want to change the world?

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in the field of operations management or a technical/engineering discipline.
  • +5 years of work experience in consultancy, within the field of manufacturing operations and operational excellence
  • You have a passion for Manufacturing, enjoy driving for improvements on the shopfloor
  • Result-driven, with the ability to be pragmatic in execution of projects and conceptual thinking
  • You have a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and build trustful relations with a range of business stakeholders (from senior to shopfloor) and internal team members
  • Strong communication, influencing and people skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • You have a great drive and are enthusiastic
  • Fluent in English, any additional European language such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Polish is a plus
  • You are flexible to travel for prolonged periods of time
