Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Understanding the requirements and platform solution of assigned client implementations.
- Participate in defining and approving the client’s solution from connectivity and processing to reporting and reconciliation.
- Validation of client platform configuration and creation of related artifacts.
- Building a production validation plan to ensure the client's readiness to transition into servicing.
- Conduct Post Implementation Validation and creation of artifacts.
- Supporting other core team members with subject matter expertise on Merchant Services products, services and all business-related processes and systems including onboarding, settlement, and funding.
- Adhering to all standard operating processes and procedures to ensure compliance controls.
- Advising and driving resolution on any open issues or escalations through use of proper channels and tools.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Requires 5+ years of work experience in Payment Industry.
- Able to comprehend complex client requirements, technical specifications, and unique client integration needs.
- Ability to work to solve problems independently, remove barriers and propose solutions, i.e. taking a hypothesis, researching and coming back with a perspective
- Polished and professional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration, technical consulting, trouble-shooting, and analytical thinking skills
- A proven track record of taking ownership, driving issues to resolution, and a true passion for client success.
- Demonstrate a track record of progressive personal development.
- Able to effectively deal with escalations and demonstrate patience, empathy, and a sense of urgency when dealing with clients.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management including senior executives within the client organization and JP Morgan organization.
- Highly motivated with the drive to learn new skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills including effective prioritization, timely and appropriate documentation.
- Must understand relational database concepts and be able to write SQL.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Stratus, Tandem and Commerce Platform operational skills
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Merchant Services business verticals, technical platforms, and processes. Business verticals include Payment Facilitators, Petroleum, Technology, Grocery, Gaming, Gambling, and Government, not for Profit, Higher Education (GHHN)
- Platforms include Stratus, Tandem, Orbital, NAP and Global. Maintains a high degree of knowledge with all technical specifications including (Tandem, Stratus, Orbital, JSON, DFR, NetConnect, ROL/PTO reporting)
- Thorough understanding of Chase network and connectivity protocols
- Strong internal network and the ability to leverage internal resources to drive resolutions to problems.
- Able to foster positive relationships with both external clients and internal partners involved.
- A track record in problem solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
