Job summary:
The position will be located in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to build a brand within your market that represents the Israel Innovation Economy team as the “Leading Innovation Economy bank serving the best and most diverse clients”
- Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager and capable of driving business independently
- Identify top technology companies in the Innovation Economy and connect with their key executives (Founders, CFO, VP of Finance, etc.) by leveraging a referral network built through business activities and relationship development
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with existing clients, advisors and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities.
- Oversee onboarding, implementation and service efforts across multiple internal business partners
- Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset balanced with the ability to manage risk (credit, operational, and reputational) appropriately
- Be an exceptional partner, who will collaborate with different teams and geographies across JP Morgan to bring the best solutions to our clients
- Prepare and review marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as financing, working capital optimization, industry and peer analysis.
- Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests.
- Be passionate about innovation, the start-up eco-system and entrepreneurship, leading to a desire to stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
- Strictly comply with all regulatory and JP Morgan Compliance rules, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 5+ years of commercial banking, investment banking or venture experience
- Proven track record of sourcing and navigating complex opportunities, ideally in commercial banking, investment banking, venture debt or venture capital
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Excellent sales management and business development skills
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with senior business and control partners
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
- Strong committed team player, looking to add to a national team of likeminded, passionate Innovation Economy bankers
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills (English & Hebrew)
- Knowledge and existing networks in the local technology and venture capital sectors; Relationships with Founders, C-suite, board members and Venture Capital investors
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; Finance and credit foundation, through a combination of formal training and on-job exposure
