As a Software Development Engineer on the EBS Fleet Capacity team you’ll work with a group of skilled engineers and use your engineering and leadership skills to develop great mission critical fleet management systems through design, development, testing, and operation. Your future team is a critical part of EBS, so you’ll collaborate with engineers and other leaders throughout the EBS organization. You’ll participate in delivering a long term strategy for infrastructure orchestration at massive scale that aligns with EBS and AWS goals and improves our business and customer experience while maintaining a high level of service. You'll be a key contributor to ensuring EBS can meet customer demand securely and reliably at scale.The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer excited about making an impact on EBS and cloud computing through back-end systems down to the host level. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
