Gett Data Visualization Engineer

This role contributes to the Global Data team. Along with the dashboards development you will be an admin and architect of the self-service BI platform supporting more than 300 users across the territories of Gett operation: Israel and the UK.

Dashboards development

• Collection and analysis of business requirements;
• Development of dashboard backend - creation of data sources by combining data from the DWH
• Visualization of the data using the corporate template and best vis practices;
• Quality checks - functionality tests, data accuracy checks;
• Presentation/adoption of the result to the stakeholders and collecting the feedback.

Tableau Server administration

• Systems performance analysis and tuning using TSM and RMT or alternatives;
• Users, content, permissions management;
• Technical dashboards creation based on Tableau repository data;
• Processes automatization.

Users support & Bugs resolution

• Resolution of user requests and bugs through Helpdesk and other channels;
• Quality checks of existing dashboards and data in the DWH.

Development of data-driven culture

• Development of users' communities;
• Active participation in infra optimization projects;
• New processes & approaches development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in BA / BI / Data Vis;
• Proficiency in SQL: ability to quickly write efficient code selecting data from multiple sources (CTEs, temp tables, sub-queries, views), knowledge of query optimization techniques, proficiency in window functions;
• 2+ years of development experience in Tableau - calculated fields, LODs, parameters, actions, dashboard containers layout;
• Solid knowledge of data vis principles /practices and aesthetic awareness;
• Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the wood behind the trees along with attention to deep details;
• Fluent English;
• Can-do attitude, self-discipline, ability to push things to happen, passion for learning, team player;
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills and proactivity;

An
advantage :

• Graduate with a degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Data Analytics
• Experience with other BI technologies (i.e. Power BI, QlikView etc.)
• Experience with Linux, command line, Python, Git, Jenkins
