Develop financial plans and estimates for direct material productivity, including negotiation, component engineering, rebates, and value engineering.
Prepare variance analysis against AOP and the previous year's performance, explaining elements such as volume/mix, operations, inflation, and productivity.
Deep dive into purchase price variance (PPV) and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
Drive analytics and transformation in the sourcing area to enable informed decision-making.
Report, review, and validate direct material spending and savings with Sourcing, Engineering, and Process Excellence teams.
Oversee VE (Value Engineering) and CE (Component Engineering) projects, including vetting project pipeline and actuals, reporting, and variance analysis to leadership.
Lead the Annual Sourcing Baseline Setting Process, which is crucial for reporting savings
Ensure productivity compliance in line with DM productivity policy.
Create new standard reports and analytics leveraging Tableau / Power BI.
What We're Looking For:
10+ years in finance, with a background in procurement or supply chain management.
Education: Cost Accountant, Master’s Degree, or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Preferred: Strong Knowledge of direct material procurement, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience in the Procurement Domain, and proficiency in tools like Tableau, SQL, CXO Cockpit, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Essbase, HANA/BW, Hyperion).
