Senior Software Engineer

Designs and develops back-end applications using Java. Develops new features and enhancements using REST methodologies. Debugs and fixes application bugs, performs root cause analysis and monitors application deployment in GCP. Writes and maintains unit test suite to achieve code coverage for new and existing code. Experience using code-versioning tools such as GitHub and code-build tools such as Maven. Designs database tables, schemas, views using SQL through RDBMS such as MySQL. Development using Agile development process through 2-week sprints.

Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Experience designing and developing applications following micro-service architecture using REST API in Java. Experience coding in object-oriented programming using Java. Experience creating and maintaining unit tests to achieve code coverage for new and existing code for the application in Java. Experience developing automation scripts for the application using Python. Experience monitoring build process using CI-CD pipelines using Jenkins. Experience monitoring the deployment process through public cloud using Google Cloud Platform. Experience designing database tables, views and schemas using SQL through RDBMS using MySQL database. Experience with code-versioning tool using GitHub. Experience with code-build tools using Maven. Experience coordinating with the product team to gather requirements and developing them into application features.
