Strong conceptual thinking and ability to articulate design rationale to non-designers
5+ years of experience designing and extending brand visual identities, creating award-winning design pieces, scaling end-to-end event identities
Deep understanding and expertise in core areas of visual design, including typography, grid/layout, color theory, logo + identity design, design systems, photography, and how to create a range of expressive tones from combining those elements. Working knowledge of photo/video art direction a plus
Deep understanding of project and design processes that yield world-class work, and the ability to self-manage bandwidth to effectively meet milestones and deadlines
Intimate knowledge of the latest design tools and workflows, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Wrike and other project management tools. Experience with AI tools like Midjourney/Dalle a plus.
Working knowledge of production best practices for print and digital output, including experience coordinating with vendors, proofing, and file management for handoff
Comfortable working both independently and with internal/external creative collaborators, copywriters, art directors, etc.
Comfortable with a level of ambiguity and operating autonomously to ensure project progress, including clearly communicating with leaders and project stakeholders to ensure roadblocks are mitigated.
BA degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
