Software Engineer III

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field.

Experience coding in object-oriented programming languages: Python and Java. Experience developing Java applications to connect using JMS as well as Apache ActiveMQ, and IBM MQ programs. Experience building applications and releasing using CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker tools. Experience streamlining the application development process using version control system: Git. Experience deploying and configuring applications in at least one of the following cloud computing platforms: Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services. Experience with log analysis using Splunk. Experience setting up Linux and cloud infrastructure including TCP/IP network, OSI model, DNS, load balancer, and firewall. Experience troubleshooting and debugging in large codebases. Experience with process automations using Linux/Unix shell and bash scripting. Experience setting up alerting and monitoring for applications including a server metrics dashboard for Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace. Experience designing and implementing REST APIs with the Java Spring framework.
