As a member of the AWT team, you will contribute to the entire stack - from backend API that manage and vend widgets to AWS Management Consoles to frontend code that powering a secure and reliable experience for AWS.Key job responsibilities
As a member of the AWT team, you will build and operate at the scale of AWS, Your code will touch millions of AWS customers and serve over 50B requests annually. You will participate in technical design, operational support, you will identify new technologies and solutions including AI/GenAI to deliver an exceptional development experience for our Amazon builders. You will solve complex yet inspiring distributed system problems and help us hold a high bar of quality for the customers.A day in the life
On a daily basis, you will spend time working with other AWS service teams to build the next generation of AWS Management Console that delight our customers with new capabilities. You will work directly with Amazon builders to help them onboard, triage or debug the applications. You will participate in supporting our region build to expand AWS presence. You will spend typically 1 week as on-call in every 2 months. Most importantly, you will learn something new while having fun doing it.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
