This position is expected to start around Aug/Sep and continue through Dec/Jan. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Please consider before submitting an application.

As a Product Security Engineering Intern, you will be expected to analyze system services, operating systems, networks and applications from a security perspective. You will be involved in discovering security issues and recommending patches. You will participate in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing and security reviews.

• Help ensure Tesla's products are implemented to a highsecurity standard
• Work with teams to implement, identify and advance securityat Tesla
• Conduct penetration tests and risk assessments in anautomotive environment
• Work with Tesla teams and external suppliers to driveremediation. Help to design a secure connected vehicle architecture
• Audit embedded code to identify security vulnerabilities
• Lead security initiatives and serve as a point of contact
• Work with vendors, partners, and other Tesla teams to driveremediation
• Conduct risk assessments to prioritize threats and comparemitigation strategies
• Assist design teams in developing secure automotive systems

• Currently pursuing a degree inComputer Science or a related field of study with a graduation date between2024-2025
• Stronginvestigative and analytical problem-solving skills
• Experiencewith secure architecture design
• Securityexpertise in one or more of: Go, Rust, C, C++, x86, ARM, CAN, cryptography,exploit development
• Penetrationtesting experience a plus
• Proficiencyin software development, auditing code and features
• Automotive & hardwareexperience a plus but not required
