The primary role of a Relationship Executive is to act as an “individual contributor” to the firm,growing and retaining profitable relationships within theCommercial Bankingspace. You will be asked to meet business development goals, seeking opportunities tomultiple products and solutions to clientsand prospect as youtheir future needs. As a Relationship Executive, you will focus on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship.This role is focused on coverage in Ontario with emphasis on the greater Toronto area.

Relationship Executives develop a weeklyplan prioritizing revenue generating opportunities. Theyare responsible for cultivating referral sources, institutionalizing relationships, and callingtenaciously on clients and prospectsSpecific calling goals are developeda strong emphasis on in-person meetingwith clients and prospective clients.Key skillsets,and behaviors include:

  • Strong familiarity with corporate credit structuring and negotiation
  • Collaboration skills and ability to lead complex deal teams
  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
  • Leveraging technology to optimize efficiency, data analytics, research and prioritization of opportunities
  • Familiarity with investment banking services to facilitate collaboration with IB partners
  • Experience and familiarity with treasury services / cash management needs of corporate clients

Job Experience

  • Extensive experienceincommercial or corporate lending and
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Knowledge of the local market
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Formal credit training preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
