The Role-
- Manage projects of appropriate size and complexity including timeframes, budgets, supervision of team members and client interaction.
- Be responsible for providing strategic advice to internal and external clients.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
- Continue to develop own technical and functional skills to progressively take on greater responsibilities as experience grows.
- Take an active role in coaching and training less experienced team members.
Here's what you'll need
- Tertiary qualification in planning, environmental science or other relevant degree is essential
- Demonstrated success in obtaining planning approvals including planning permit applications and planning scheme amendments
- Successful experience networking to pursue new opportunities
- Ability to build high functioning teams
- Business acumen
- Project management experience including managing budgets and timelines
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent report writing abilities
