Job Purpose:

The Intern will work on an alliance-related project that will support the biomedical research work at the Translational Medicine Research Centre. This will be a non-lab based role.

Enrollment in an Undergraduate program leading to a Degree in a Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences-related discipline.

Experience and Skills:

• Working knowledge of laboratory-based terminologies and methodologies in the areas of molecular biology, cell culture, imaging, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry, histology.
• Demonstrated ability in working effectively in a matrix structure with cross-functional teams and ability to successfully collaborate and work across boundaries.
• Project management experience preferred.

• Keen to learn and good team player
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Availability for 6 months in a full-time capacity.
