Job Title: Microsoft Reporting Lead - Reporting and Data Analytics

Department: Reporting and Data Analytics

We provide reporting solutions/requirements through finance, markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Forecasting, Financial Planning, Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning and Cash Reporting to help you take better business decisions. With projects like Mercury, we also support business transformation, and we are continuing to expand our services to support all Regions with their reporting and analytics needs.




Data Analysis and Insight Generation

  • Create data visualizations and implement decision support tools end to end using standard BI reporting tools / advanced analytical tools.
  • Ensure smooth ETL and data flows execution, data assembly, cleansing, validation, data modelling and documentation
  • Perform in-depth analysis of complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop Financial, revenue, predictive models and conduct trend analysis to forecast business outcomes.
  • Lead comprehensive business segment reporting, encompassing sales, revenue, and market analysis.
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with business strategies
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, understandable, and actionable insights Leadership and for non-technical audiences.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership teams, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business questions and provide data insights.

Business and Financial Acumen

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to align data insights with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the team's efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, developments in business intelligence, data analytics and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Technical Proficiency

  • Leverage Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards. Having a knowledge on Power Platform is a plus.
  • Design and create SQL queries, interpret advance SQL queries, and extract or manipulate data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Employ advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts

Requirements

  • Solid grasp of SQL and the foundational principles of data warehousing.

  • Knowledgeable in financial domain, leveraging advanced analytics
  • Capable of managing a multiple project portfolio with exceptional efficiency.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in in computer science, information science, finance and data analytics, or related fields.
  • 12 - 15 years of experience in financial reporting and analytics, with 8+ years of experience as a Power BI, SQL Server.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
