In this role, you will:
- Manage team of less experienced associates in research and analytics tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance in Risk Analytics
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, modeling, data, and risk control development in less complex products
- Make daily analytical decisions and resolve issues related to product performance, development of team, and analysis of trends under direction of Risk management
- Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with and consult with peers, managers, and other business units
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Risk Analytics
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience

- Excellent understanding of Capital markets focusing on counterparty credit risk, CCAR and stress testing.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences or management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Financial services experience, in lending, underwriting, servicing.
- Experience in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Teradata.
- Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Strong understanding of bank regulatory requirements, regulatory reporting and governance requirements
- Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
Job Expectations:
- Lead and manage a team to support the WIM CRO Credit Risk team with risk analytics activities across consumer, mortgage, and custom credit/commercial products.
- Manage multiple stakeholder relationships and project engagements across credit risk organization
- Leverage innovative tools to collect, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data across multiple data environments
- Identify trends and patterns to inform sound business decisions.
- Effectively utilize analytical tools to create visualizations and share insights.
- Learn about many aspects of WIM business through partnerships with various groups including credit policy, underwriting, and servicing.
- Combine technical skills with business skills to help support the team with end to end quality assurance initiatives.
- Provide quantitative support of credit policy through analysis and impact assessment of prospective quality assurance findings.
- Lead the team to develop recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis packages to monitor various product sets across WIM for management.
- Identify opportunities for strategic and infrastructure projects.
- Design and deliver process improvements, standardization, rationalization and automations
