Build up and assemble units in passenger coaches such as, but not limited to, roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, and panels, including air supply racks and piping assemblies....

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Build up and assemble units in passenger coaches such as, but not limited to, roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, and panels, including air supply racks and piping assemblies.
- Apply adhesive, assemble, and align floor panels, windows, and door assemblies.
- Install mechanical components such as insulation, sidewall panels, seating, and luggage racks.
- Route and connect electrical wiring harnesses to final termination points and subassemblies.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, reassemble components as required.
- Duties may consist of, but not limited to, working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches and verbal instructions to produce electrical or Electro-Mechanical subassemblies.
- Frequently required to use fine motor skills, assembling some small parts with excellent dexterity.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school education or state recognized GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience with electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive or electrical service industries
- Capable of basic written and verbal communication in English
- Knowledge of reading of blueprints, diagrams and various part list is helpful.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to climb stairs, steps, and ladders
- Frequently required to work on elevated platforms.
- Perform work overhead.
- Occasionally lift and move at most 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

תיאור:
As a Warehouse Operations Technician, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high-energy warehouse environment, providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world. This role focuses on the receiving, putting away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production. Additionally, the role may focus on the interaction with the MRP system for accurately tracking the material movements.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Follow all safety requirements, including the use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Contribute to and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Specific areas or responsibilities may include receiving, putting away, picking, kitting, or delivering material to production.
- Ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.
- Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.
- Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
- Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues
- Use of powered industrial vehicles in the movement of material. Certification for the use of some tools and equipment may be required, such as a crane, forklift, order picker, scissor lift, and fall protection equipment.
- Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.
- Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school Diploma or GED
- 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
- Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle certification
- SAP experience preferred
- Inventory control experience preferred
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, candidates will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
- Training and certification for the use of powered industrial vehicles will be provided.
