• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Significant experience with Rust async runtimes and advanced concurrency patterns.
• Experience with thread-per-core design, live reconfiguration, and stream processing.
• Familiarity with Apache Arrow and DataFusion.

• Architect and ship full-stack solutions (React/Next.js + TypeScript frontends; Node/Python/Go/Java backends) and production APIs.

• Design cloud architectures on public cloud: managed DBs, object storage, networking, IAM, and secure service-to-service patterns.

• Build data platforms: relational + NoSQL, caching, search, event streams, and object storage; enable vector/semantic stores for AI.

• Own CI/CD and IaC (Terraform / ARM / Bicep, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins); containerize and run on Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).

• Instrument observability and SLAs (metrics, tracing, logging); ensure operational excellence and security/compliance.

• Integrate with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Coveo/search, identity providers) and partner with Product, Support Ops, Security, and ML teams.

• Mentor engineers and introduce standards, templates, and automation to scale delivery.

• 10+ years building full-stack systems at scale.

• Strong frontend (React/Next.js + TypeScript) and backend(Node/Python/Go/Java)experience.

• Deep Azure and/or AWS experience: compute, networking, managed databases(Postgres/Aurora/DynamoDB/Cosmos),S3/Azure Blob.

• BS/MS in CS or equivalent experience.

• Prior experience with customer success / support systems (portal, knowledge).

• Familiarity with LLM integration patterns and vector DBs (FAISS, Milvus).

Primary Responsibilities

· Produce product requirements and corresponding business cases for new or evolving BIG-IP products.

· Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product concept, make vs. buy analysis, design requirements, New Product Introduction (NPI), flagship product, cash cow, sunset, and End-of-Life (EOL)

· Maintain stewardship of the BIG-IP roadmap for LTM and related BIG-IP capabilities.

· Independently lead large projects (individual or with cross-functional team) to develop a factbase and set of recommendations to provide into a strategic question or business problem (e.g., new product entry)

· Apply an 80/20 approach to create structured models leveraging data from across sources (e.g., Capital IQ, 3rd party analyst insights, survey data) for 1 & 5 year financial planning

· Use appropriate storylining and storytelling techniques to communicate recommendations or insights to an identified audience (e.g., the Board, the CEO or Executive Leadership team, Product Management leadership, or broad set of employees)

· Apply business acumen to synthesize findings to develop strategic recommendations

· Establish external relationships with industry analysts to build F5 credibility

· Support and coach Product Management leaders to test prospective F5 strategies

· Influence without authority to ensure strategic recommendations are executed by the business

· Proactively identify and manage impact of insights to broader organization, including development and presentation of a strategic point of view, goals, and proposed outcomes

Qualifications

· BA/BS degree in relevant field required, MBA a plus
