As a Director in EY-Parthenon’s Strategy & Execution – Deal Technology practice focusing on Enterprise Reimagined, you will lead high-impact engagements that drive both cost optimization and top-line growth across complex transactions and corporate transformations. You will work with C-suite executives, private equity clients, and corporate leadership to identify, plan, and execute technology-driven strategies that optimize IT and operational costs while also accelerating revenue and digital innovation during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs as well as in non-transaction/transformation settings. This role blends deep IT expertise with strategic insight to deliver measurable value through cost transformation, digital enablement, operational efficiency, and tech-enabled growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will lead value-creation technology projects that span cost optimization and growth enablement. Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field and 8 years of experience (of which 5 years are progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience). Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or related field and 7 years of work experience.
Must have 7 years of experience in conducting assessments of technology, finance, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain infrastructure.
Must have 5 years of experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs including experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Must have 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional workstreams for the integration or separation of client operations, including contract separation or legal entity operationalization.
Must have 5 years of experience in the integration or separation of client operations in a consulting or professional services firm.
Must have 4 years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm in mergers and acquisitions, which includes experience in one or a combination of any of the following: merger integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs.
Must have 5 years of experience in synthesizing approaches in complex integration or divestiture conflicts.
Must have 5 years of experience in developing client leadership level materials for the integration or separation of client operations.
Must have 3 years of experience in project management, including managing, developing and coaching professional employees.
Must have 3 years of experience in project or engagement management, including managing engagements and engagement related budgets and applying it to business development, pricing efforts while managing live deals or engagements.
Must have 2 years of experience in supporting business development, including developing C-suite level proposal materials.
Requires domestic and international travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
