  • Identify and engage with the right set of strategic partners (1T, 2T, and Distribution) based on technology competencies, specializations, and customer segmentation.

  • Engage with Business Decision Makers and collaborate within Cisco and with our Partner community to drive mutual business success.

  • Develop and execute Business Plans that align partner initiatives with Cisco’s priorities.

  • Build and convey compelling value propositions for partners by thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

  • Deliver incremental and new business growth for Cisco through effective partner engagement.

  • Operate effectively within a geographically distributed, matrixed environment while adapting to fast-paced, dynamic change.

  • Establish trusted relationships and gain consensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Frame client business and technical imperatives in a way that builds confidence and drives alignment.

Who You Are
  • 5–8 years of experience in a Partner Sales role with strong knowledge of partner routes to market, including strategic direct partners, distribution, reseller channels, and current partner programs.

  • Deep knowledge and business insight in Cloud, AI, Security, Networking technologies, Software sales, and Managed Services.

  • Strong background that enables both business engagement with decision makers and effective collaboration in sales environments.

  • Proven ability to develop business plans that balance partner priorities with Cisco’s strategic goals.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, able to clearly articulate objectives using facts, data, and best practices.

  • Highly motivated, positive, and creative, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to rapidly build credibility and trust.

  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in geographically distributed and matrix organizations.

What You'll Do
  • We are excited to announce an opening for a Cybersecurity Sales Account Executive in our Global Security Sales Organization!
  • In this role, you will be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional with a keen interest in cybersecurity. Your goal will be to enhance security resilience for our customers and communities. As a natural self-starter with a competitive mindset, Cisco Cybersecurity Account Executives excel at building strong executive and internal relationships through effective planning and accountability. You will proactively seek opportunities to position Cisco's comprehensive security portfolio and cross-sell with all Cisco solutions to maximize security value for customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region and its accounts, leveraging all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services, Cisco on Cisco, etc.).
  • Drive double-digit revenue growth through identifying new projects, creating opportunities, and securing business attachments.
  • Accurately forecast and report activities in line with expectations using .
  • Identify major projects within large accounts and lead initiatives to maximize product and services revenue across the account base.
  • Provide customers and partners with appropriate pricing and configurations tailored to their needs.
  • Forge high-level relationships within critical strategic accounts to secure incremental product and service business.
  • Collaborate closely with technical resources to ensure technical excellence in all positioning, competitive analysis, proposals, and exchanges.
  • Team up with the Cisco Channel Team and authorized channel partners on new and existing sales opportunities, leveraging their capabilities when appropriate.
  • Apply solution-selling methodologies to boost corporate revenue growth, with a proven track record of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities. Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus.
Who You'll Work With
  • As a Cybersecurity Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for all sales of Cisco Security solutions and services. You must be adept at forging and nurturing new relationships within the customer and partner base through both direct and indirect engagement, driving significant revenue growth while ensuring internal alignment.
Who You Are
  • Skilled in direct touch sales with experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with others to enhance results.
  • Experienced in selling network security solutions (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN) or SaaS security offerings.
  • Possess a minimum of 5+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to selling security solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experienced in managing large deals and executing account and partner plans across geographic territories.
  • Capable of building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach.
  • Proficient at presenting to a predominantly technical audience.
  • Experienced in applying solution-selling methodologies to drive corporate revenue growth, with a history of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Security Market.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, demonstrating competence in building and executing a large geographic plan across multiple accounts.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
