About the Role

The appointed Regional Sales Manager will lead the area of Andalucía.

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and lead regional sales strategies aligned with national goals and corporate vision.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to analyze performance, address gaps, and define corrective actions.
• Identify and seize local market opportunities, optimizing territory planning and resource allocation.

Cross-Franchise & Strategic Collaboration

• Ensure effective coordination with the CRM RSM to optimize synergies across the RM division.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate clinical, commercial, and operational inputs in account strategies.

Market & Business Insight

• Monitor and interpret healthcare trends, regional policies, and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain market leadership.

• Ensure product and market knowledge remains current across the team.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), major accounts, and key clinical and administrative decision-makers.
• Support high-stakes negotiations, educational initiatives, and partnership building across the territory.
• Develop and execute bundled and value-added commercial solutions that meet both clinical and economic customer needs.

Sales Operations & CRM Usage

• Ensure full adoption of Salesforce CRM for accurate tracking of customer engagements, pipeline opportunities, and market intelligence.
• Use CRM data for performance monitoring, forecasting, and territory alignment.

Quality & Compliance

• Promote a strong culture of quality and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Ensure that all field force activities are aligned with Boston Scientific’s standards and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing RSM, NSM, BUM and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market / product trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).

• Understands account’s unmet needs and expectations and consistently develops detailed account plans, supporting RSM in Top Tier 1 accounts while autonomously performing the activity in other Tier 1, Tier 2 and (Tier 3 if applicable) accounts. Designs and executes sales strategies and activities for accounts in scope, accordingly with account plans and in compliance with national and regional target.

• Develops the stakeholder map, defines touchpoints and action plan for each of them and ensures account information are timely updated into systems.

• Builds and maintains relationships with economic stakeholders, clinical KOL, promoting Health Economics arguments and engaging decision-makers to discuss commercial programmes and solutions.

• Supports clinical colleagues in identifying and managing sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; performs, with the guidance of RSM, clinical selling based on clinical support information.

• Based on interactions with KOLs, clinical and economic stakeholders and clinical support, gathers information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities. Plans and prepares tender / proposal based on account situation and understanding. Participates in negotiations, where applicable, and, in collaboration with Tender Office, prepares administrative documents and input requested by the customer.

• Develops the deal model, supporting RSMs in Top Tier 1 accounts, and creates IPAT

• Timely reaches-out to the customer regarding new agreement, performing sales visits and contextually identifying new sales opportunity to drive future business growth.

• Performs periodic update with respective Sales Force and QBRs meeting with RSMs, leverages on monitoring and reporting content to ensure effective sales process execution.

• Records customer information and activities in company’s CRM system: use the system as an alignment tool with other commercial roles.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

• Support and develop a high-performance sales and clinical organization to effectively achieve Axonics’ business objectives.
• Provide daily guidance and leadership to the field team through effective communication of objectives, hands-on coaching, and team development.
• Support, develop, and execute territory plans to deliver on annual revenue commitment and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
• Provide day-to-day field clinical support, which includes patient interactions, patient education, programming of Axonics devices and patient follow up, plus technical/application and education support, site management, coordination and in-service training for the SNM clinical programs.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and drive new business in the assigned territory.
• Drive effective sales and educational initiatives.
• Work effectively with Sales/Marketing/CCO/Product/Business Managers to design and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
• Develop the market for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals and objectives.
• Proactively identify and communicate changes in the healthcare, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
• Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
• Established contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff as it relates to Axonics SNM business.
• Hand in all reports including forecasts, expense reports, etc., in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Negotiate distribution agreements where required.
• Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and process requirements.
• Successfully complete formal Axonics training program, apply these skills in the field and maintain high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing in health industry environment.

Profile Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Medical Education/ Customer programs/ Field support

• CRM (full portfolio) field support experience and expertise is required for this role (minimum 3 years)
• Training and Medical Education background will be highly valued for the role (2 years)

Experience with educational platforms (e.g. EDUCARE digital platform), Learning Management Systems, e-learning programmes and digital content will be highly valued

• University degree or equivalent required with solid expertise in Rhythm Management and CRM (disease, product, clinical)
