Technology SME Leader for Sterile and Bio production

The Engineer will provide the overall subject matter expertise on Global level, on a cluster level and on a site level as needed.

Scope of Subject Matter Expert support may include – Standardization processes, Compliance GAP CAP, Reliability improvements, Machine, Facility and Process design and PS, RA processes.

This role can be based in one of our following European based sites, Croatia (Zagreb), Netherlands (Haarlem), United Kingdom (Runcorn), Romania (Bucharest), Lithuania (Vilnius) or Ulm (Germany).

How you’ll spend your day

BP scope through the above site processes and monitoring framework, focus but not limited to:

  • CAPEX – LRP, AOP, routines, financial performance, KPIs management.
  • PRODEX – Planning and management of three Eng. Related budgets – Energy, Maintenance, Consumables.
  • GMI – Saving initiatives planning and projects execution.
  • People – agile organization, risk management, community building.
Your experience and qualifications
  • BS. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Industrial)
  • MBA Degree - Advantage
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Aseptic/Sterile technologies.
  • Complex manufacturing (Respiratory, patches, etc.) - nice to have
  • Experience in sterile and bio - must have
  • Coordinating initiatives in a complex global environment.
  • Equipment Reliability and understanding of OPEX principles.
  • Excellent understanding of Aseptic/Sterile equipment industry standards and major OEM players.
  • Understanding trends in equipment technology across the pharma industry.
  • Large, complex, multi-level organizational interface experience.
  • Global, multinational experience.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages advantage.

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to public sector accounts in the cybersecurity industry.

  • Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.

  • Experience selling SIEM, EDR, or CNAPP (DevSecOps, CloudOps) solutions is highly preferred.

  • Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations

  • Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.

  • Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred

  • Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs.

  • Fluent German & English

Your experience and qualifications

  • Have performed similar role in a FMCG company is a plus
  • Ability to influence laterally the organization

What You’ll Do

Applied Materials is looking for anto provide overall vision and direction to the(Germany, Austria, Belgium). In this role you will be responsible for metric reporting and forecasting, leading the organization through performance and process improvement, and setting overall budget and strategic direction. This position requires close coordination and strong working relationships with other regional functional departments as well as division and headquarters' functional leaders. This Senior Director position resides within the AGS Leadership Team and reports to the European Field Service Executive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the staff to ensure all customer installation, repair and maintenance activity is performed in compliance with Company policies, business processes and quality standards.
  • Requires both effective management of daily activities and development of process improvements to address any identified deficiencies.
  • In concert with the Region Finance Team, responsible for annual budgeting and monthly forecast updates for operating expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Must build strong working relationship with regional peers, particularly those in Engineering, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Services and Finance, to ensure alignment on daily operations and strategic initiatives to achieve common business goals.
  • Develop and maintain standards, procedures, and operational processes for the department that meet or exceed industry standards.

  • Establish a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, always challenging the team to find new ways to improve the customer experience and drive improved business performance.

  • Strong communications skills displayed through effective written communications, both technical and non-technical, and the ability to present in a manner of influence and impact.
  • Displayed ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance operational goals and objectives.
