The EMEA Claims Handler is responsible for the handling of freight claims and seamless liaison between Tesla and our partners. You will be part of the Logistics Claims, Quality & Compliance team. This team is responsible for ensuring compliance within our logistics operations. You will aim to ensure our freight claims are diligently investigated and settled by our standards.

• Investigate the reports of claims and validate if they can be pursued
• Send claims to carriers, respond to inquiries, follow up on cases, and document claims in our systems
• Track damaged products and work with our internal teams to provide repair estimates
• Negotiate the settlements of claims as needed
• Communicate updates on claims progress to our internal stakeholders when requested
• Work with our internal stakeholders to improve the quality of logistics by providing insight into pursued claims
• Provide outstanding customer service to our partners throughout every step of the claims process
• Track payment completion of claim invoices and send payment reminders
• Monitor and drive change in our processes and systems
• Prepare analyses and reporting to understand our claims performance
• Identify and communicate recurring operational errors when applicable
• Support the onboarding of new carriers onto our claims system

• BA/MS degree in supply chain, business, finance, or any other relevant field
• Excellent communication skills, you will represent the Tesla team with all external partners
• Ability to investigate large amounts of data and maintain oversight
• Persistent and diligent in managing claim cases, you will work on one case, move to another, and later come back to the first
• Proven engagement with logistics and quality. You will be part of daily improvements in our Supply Chain operations.

• Work on internal Time & Attendance system configurations, deployments and updates, with the global applications team
• Review regional Payroll/ HR/ Operations needs and partner with key stakeholders on system enhancements, features delivery
• Review common issues and questions and provide timely support. Provide timely resolution in conjunction with Help Desk/ Answer Bar
• Work closely with Systems Manager/ applications team and end users on On-going projects and upgrades including new pay rule configurations, scheduling, leave setups, attendance policies.
• Perform system enhancements/ updates and new system rollouts.
• Train Payroll/ HR/ Users on the usage of system tools and address common reporting needs and gaps.
• Work with HR teams on policy audits, change management for system updates.

• Min. 3 years of Kronos/ UKG, SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday or similar systems experience with reporting, configuration, and administration of the system.
• College degree with BS in computer science or related field is required.
• Advance knowledge of Timekeeping, Leave, and payroll systems and various workforce modules including Timekeeping, Leave & Accruals, Pay codes/ Pay rules setup, PCDs is required.
• Experience with SQL, query tools, data connectors, orchestration, analyze and troubleshoot data related issues.

The Role

As Junior Buyer within Indirect Procurement, you will begin by managing and analyzing rates within our eProcurement systems, focusing on building a strong foundation in procurement processes in general and logistics. Over time, you will develop the skills needed to transition into a Junior Buyer Logistics role, with this transition taking place within 1 to 2 years, depending on individual growth and performance.

This position starts with a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• Upload and manage rates in the eProcurement platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all data.
• Analyze rate data for discrepancies and ensure that all logistic costs are up to date.
• Collaborate with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely rate updates and agreements.
• Assist the invoice review team in identifying and resolving rate discrepancies efficiently.
• Suggest and implement process improvements, utilizing tools such as Python for data analysis and automation.
• Develop a solid understanding of sourcing processes, including issuing RFx’s and evaluating supplier quotes.
• Gain proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., ERP system, CLM) and assist in supporting contracting approvals.

• Diagnose and resolve asset related issues based on customer feedback, site hosts feedback and social platforms to ensure an excellent charging experience for our customers
